    Kimié Miner’s Birthday Celebration

    Kimié Miner is a Native Hawaiian mother of three and a full-time GRAMMY®-nominated producer, singer-songwriter, and recording artist. She is the President and CEO of HAKU COLLECTIVE, a full-service, multi-media talent production and management group that she founded in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi. She has written and co-produced 5 award-winning albums including the GRAMMY®-nominated album, “Hawaiian Lullaby,” and most recently produced “Children of the Sea - Nā Kama Kai” a full-length album from her free music mentorship program called MeleCraft, dedicated to supporting aspiring young artists and honoring the Hawaiian culture and language. In 2018, she won Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for her song “Bamboo” (Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awards) and Female Artist of the Year at the Island Music Awards.

    • Kimie Miner

      Kimie Miner is a GRAMMY® Award-nominated producer, singer-songwriter, recording artist and owner of Haku Collective, a full-service music, audio, talent production and mentorship group. She began writing her own songs on her guitar at age 14 and first toured with reggae star Barrington Levy at 19.

      In the days before YouTube stars, Kimié self-produced three tracks while living abroad in Hong Kong and posted them on MySpace where they hit #1 in MySpace’s Unsigned Artist chart in the state of Hawai‘i. She released her first EP in 2012, To The Sea, which was entirely funded by a Kickstarter campaign.

      In 2015, Kimié wrote and co-produced her first full-length album, Kimié Miner which won Contemporary album of the Year at the Nā Hōkū Hanohano awards.

      In 2017, she released her sophomore album “Proud as the Sun” which she dedicated to her first child, born in February 2018. In 2018, she won Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for “Bamboo” at the 41st Nā Hōkū Hanohano Awa rds as well as Female Artist of the Year at the Island Music Awards.

      In 2019, she released a collaborative album, "Hawaiian Lullaby". She currently sits on the Board of Governors for the Recording Academy (Pacific Northwest Chapter) and the Hawaii Academy of Recording Arts. She is a Recording Academy District Advocate for music creators rightʻs. Kimié continues to be a hardworking mom-preneur of two young children while running Haku Collective, with a mission to support Hawai’i-based music artists (established and up-and-coming) in their musical endeavors.
